Hi there! I'm Margaret Bates

I'm an NSCA strength coach, mom & proud Cleveland Heights native.


I have a degree in psychology & went on to pursue coaching after finding my power, purpose & fulfillment (& healing a negative body image) through fitness & mindset training in my 20s. 


I've been in business as a personal trainer & strength coach since 2015,


Working exclusively in-person with my clients through March 2020 before abruptly shifting online with the COVID-19 shutdowns. 



I'm now a mom of 2 boys living with my farm-raised husband on the edge of Geauga County.


I run an online coaching business serving women across the globe with specialty in pre-conception, pregnancy, postpartum & menopause.



I have advanced training in strength & conditioning, Olympic weightlifting, prenatal & postpartum exercise, menopause & pelvic health.


With my background in psychology, 


I LOVE forming relationships with my clients & connecting the dots between mindset, behavior & how this impacts our physical & mental health.



The best part of my job is connecting with people through deep conversations, movement & weightlifting to show them how strong, capable & worthy they really are!


Regardless how much they weigh, the workouts they may have missed, or the calories they ate the night before.



When I'm your coach, we work together through challenging circumstances & changes to your body.


We also work through the fears, doubts, limiting beliefs & habits that hold you back from being the best version of yourself & living the life you want to live each day. 



I take an evidence-based, person-centered approach to fitness, 


Combining my knowledge & experience as a strength & conditioning coach 


with my passion for people, their well-being & supporting them through hard things.



While I'm grateful to live out my passion & have an impact everyday through my career as a coach,


In my free time I love exploring outside & goofing off with my boys,


reading, writing & playing the piano,


& spending as much time as possible with my husband Allen & our close-knit families.
